Who operates Mintry
C&K operates Mintry. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests. This policy covers the app and website.
Information and purpose
The app creates a Firebase anonymous account identifier after you confirm you are at least 13. We store your name or nickname, birth date, birth time and birthplace, questionnaire answers, generated readings, profile code, connections and a required hand photo to provide your reflection map and restore its cloud data. You enter a birthplace; the app does not request device location permission.
The required hand photo
A hand photo is required to finish the hand-reflection flow. It is uploaded and stored with your account. The symbolic hand reading is selected using your questionnaire result. Use a photo of your own hand without other people or identifying background details.
How readings work
Readings use an on-device content library, your questionnaire and birth inputs. The Human Design-inspired reflection uses your questionnaire type; it is not a calculated Human Design bodygraph. Results are for entertainment and reflection, not medical, psychological or other professional advice. We do not send these inputs to a generative AI provider.
Connections and profile codes
Anyone you give your profile code to can create a connection using your displayed name and derived personality information. The connection response excludes your raw questionnaire answers, exact birth date, time and birthplace, and hand photo. Only share your code with people you trust. Information another person has copied or captured cannot be recalled.
Service providers
Google Firebase provides authentication; Netcup hosts our API and database; Cloudflare provides network protection and R2 image storage; Mapbox supplies birthplace search results. Search text is processed to find a place. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. Infrastructure providers may process IP addresses and technical logs. Data may be processed outside your country.
Advertising and analytics
Mintry is free, with no ads or purchases. We do not sell personal information or use cross-app tracking. The app does not include Firebase Analytics. Hosting and security logs are separate from app advertising or behavioural analytics.
Retention and security
We retain active account data to provide the service. Requests use encrypted transport and authenticated account access. Successful in-app deletion removes the live account record, associated answers, readings, connections and stored hand images. If deletion fails, the app reports the failure and offers retry. Infrastructure logs and any backups have separate retention schedules; contact support for the applicable period and any legally required retention. No service can guarantee absolute security. A minimal hash of the deleted account identifier blocks stale requests for 65 minutes; it contains no photo or profile data and is removed by the next cleanup, normally within 80 minutes while the service is running.
Deletion and uninstalling
Use Profile → Delete account in the app, or visit /delete-account to request deletion without reinstalling. Uninstalling or clearing local data does not delete cloud data and may lose access to an anonymous account. If you have lost access, contact support; we may need information to locate the account and verify the request.
Age and choices
Mintry is for ages 13 and older. Local law may require a higher age or parent or guardian consent. Do not provide another person’s photo or personal information without permission. Contact us if an underage child has provided data, or to exercise applicable privacy rights.

Website quiz and email subscription
When you subscribe to see a web quiz result, we store your email address, language, signup source, subscription date, and the version of the consent you accepted in Mintry’s database. We use this subscription for Mintry updates and reflections. Quiz answers and results are calculated for your current request and are not stored with your subscription. You can unsubscribe using the link shown with your result, a link in a Mintry email, or by contacting [email protected]. We retain an unsubscribe record to honor your choice. We do not send an email merely because you completed the quiz. Subscriptions are separate from mobile app accounts, which do not require an email. Contact support to request deletion of the subscription record.
Optional usage data
When Share usage data is enabled, we collect app opens, session identifiers, screen changes and foreground duration, button identifiers and flow outcomes, linked to your app account. We do not put names, answer values, birth inputs, profile codes or photos in usage events. Collection is on by default when no preference is saved. You can turn it off below Delete account in Profile; saved choices are preserved. Turning it off stops new collection and clears pending events; account deletion removes linked live event history. Events are stored for up to 90 days plus the hourly cleanup interval. A bounded local queue retries transmission when the service is available. Exported analysis datasets and backups require the same privacy/deletion controls; pseudonymous identifiers do not make data fully anonymous.
